Description
This is the Christmas present I designed and made for my sister, based on the shape of the St. James cross. I had some trouble setting such small stones without any tools specifically designed for setting small bezels, which resulted in a few messy settings in the bottom. I'll know what to do better on the next one. Fortunately, being a small piece, the irregularities are not too noticable.
I also broke the bottom part twice while setting the stones, and it was too late to solder so I (eek!) used a "chemical bond" to fix the problem. It doesn't stand out, especially if I don't admit it. So I won't tell my sister.
I love the Santiago cross, so I'll probably make more jewelry with a similar theme.
